About

I’m an Audiobook Junkie, Speaker of Memes and Master of Gifs.

I have mad geek cred:

  • I grew up with video games since I was 5 and lived on the interwebz since I was 12- lurking through websites, chats and talking to people almost thrice my age.
  • I have participated extensively in eSports and in gaming communities officially and unofficially by reviewing games, producing podcasts and streaming in front of 50k viewers back when Twitch just started. I was also sponsored by MadCatz and Alienware while I was pursuing a degree in Political Science in Arizona. I consider this my most formative years in the public eye.
  • I self-experiment with Diet and Fitness. I’ve lost 11 pounds  in a sustainable way through intermittent fasting and the slow-carb diet within a month.
  • I hack my way through passion projects to prove that the most important thing is execution and not the initial idea. Back in 2015, my best friend and I hacked together a desert delivery site overnight and made money delivering orders the next day while he was hungover and I had a late night binge gaming sesh. All this came about because of lunch small talk with some colleagues that were craving for a local soy bean desert.
  • Another passion project I did was with my brother. We experimented with Burst Coin, a sustainable form of Cryptocurrency using hard drives to mine. We plotted our drive and started mining Burst Coin before it was trendy and made money to pay off our hard drives.
  • In the early stages of GoCar (a car sharing company acquired by the Tan Chong Group), I took over building and soldering electronics together when our engineer left. I build, installed and repaired trackers in the first 80 cars while maintaining our fleet of cars and managing my team. I was the Head of Operations and grew our fleet to 400 and a team of 16 for both customer experience and fleet. This goes to show getting your hands dirty is hard work but it pays off. Never think that a job is beneath you. I had dirt and grime under my nails wiping cars down, repairing devices and delivering cars to customers.
  • I believe everyone should care for each other and the biggest benefactor from “Paying it Forward” is the person who started the cycle. You feel an overwhelming sense of joy being able to start the chain of reactions that follows. People also tend to want to help you willingly and abundantly. That was also how our Shell Partnership started during my tenure at GoCar- through a friend of mine and it was serendipitous. Fast forward to today, we are in an official partnership with Shell at a thousand cars (early 2020). With their help and the rest of our partners, there’s no sign of us stopping. To infinity and beyond! (Big Shout-out to Adrian and Din for making it happen :))
